A monthly curation of resources, opportunities, and creative inspiration for founders and creatives building community with intention.
Hey friend,
As summer begins to wind down, I've been thinking about the small things that help us feel grounded: a meaningful conversation, a new creative idea, or a few quiet moments before the day begins.
When you're building something of your own, it's easy to move from one goal to the next without pausing long enough to notice what you need or how far you've already come.
This month's issue is a reminder that growth doesn't have to come at the expense of your well-being. Inside, you'll find opportunities to connect, resources to support your creative work, and a few gentle invitations to slow down.

COMMUNITY REFLECTION

Sustainable Self-Care Tips
September marks Self-Care Awareness Month, a reminder that caring for yourself does not have to be elaborate, expensive, or reserved for the moments when you are already running on empty.
Here are a few affirmations to invite more sustainable self-care into your life:
Rest comes before recovery. I choose to slow down.
I must replenish my cup before pouring into others.
Small moments of care invite stillness, presence, and restoration into my life.
COLLABORATION BOARD

Rare Beauty Collective
If your content lives at the intersection of beauty, wellness, and mental health, Rare Beauty is inviting creators to join a community centered on honest self-expression.
Members may receive a mix of Rare Beauty favorites and new product launches to try and share authentically with their audiences. If the brand's mission and content themes feel aligned with your work, this could be a meaningful way to create, connect, and grow with a purpose-led community.

ON MY RADAR
The Next Wave of Influence
Sprout Social's 2026 Influencer Marketing Report reinforces something many of us have been feeling: trust is becoming more valuable than reach.
Only 17% of consumers say they check a creator's follower count before deciding whether to engage. What matters more is whether the subject feels relevant and the content style resonates. In other words, a large audience may create visibility, but alignment is what creates influence.
For creators, that is an invitation to get clearer about your point of view and the value people can consistently expect from you. For brands, it is a reminder to choose partners for the relationship they have built with their audience - not simply the size of it.
CREATIVE SPARK
A few things that sparked my thinking and creativity this month:
Discover Your Creative Personality Type
I took Adobe's Creative Types quiz and got The Luminary, described as someone "illuminating a more beautiful world." That felt fitting for how I naturally show up for myself and others: bringing people together, sharing meaningful stories, and finding ways to bring more mindfulness and light into every interaction.
Inviting More Small Moments of Joy
As a self-proclaimed matcha girly, I didn't expect mushroom coffee to become part of my routine. But RYZE has become one of those small moments that help me slow down, reset, and ease into my day with a little more energy and focus. It's a reminder that self-care doesn't have to be elaborate; sometimes it's as simple as making space to refill your own cup.

An Instagram Post Worth Studying
This post is a quiet reminder that creativity needs open space. When every pause is filled with scrolling, planning, or producing, our minds have little room to wander - and wandering is often where new connections begin.
For creators and founders, doing nothing is not always a lack of momentum. Sometimes it is the spaciousness that lets an unfinished thought become a useful idea. Consider protecting a few unscheduled minutes this week and noticing what surfaces when you stop trying to force the next answer.
Not everything meaningful needs to move fast. Sometimes the most purposeful next step is to honor your capacity, deepen one connection, or give yourself enough space for a new idea to find you.
As summer winds down, I hope you make space for what nourishes you and trust that the way you care for yourself is part of how you care for what you are building.
With love + intention,
Albrina M.
